The George S. Eccles Ice Center presents their 12th annual Spice on Ice fundraising event on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Come join us as several of Cache Valley’s great chefs, representing their restaurant, prepare and serve entrees for your dining enjoyment. Many other restaurants kick off the event with a social hour; where they provide some of the best appetizers you will find! Social hour starts at 5:30 pm and dinner at 7:00 pm. This high-end event includes a sophisticated dinner and a live and silent auction. All monies donated contribute to the success of the non-profit ice center’s community programs. To reserve a sponsorship table or individual tickets, contact the George S. Eccles Ice Center at 435-787-2288. Tickets go on sale Monday, February 2.

This past weekend, members of the Cache Valley Figure Skating Club competed in the Wasatch Freedom Classic Competition at the Ice Sheet in Ogden. The competition was the last in a year-long series of competitions held along the Wasatch Front. The skaters earned points according to how they placed at each competition throughout the year. Four of the club skaters came away as title winners in Basic Skills Championship Series. Congratulations to Eden Decker, Maddie Lyons, Abby Grover, and Holley Peacock! You represented CVFSC and the Eccles Ice Center with shining colors!
