The Eccles Ice Center opened on January 1, 2002, and is Cache Valley’s only year-round ice arena. The Ice Center has rapidly become a daily destination for hundreds of families in this region. The Eccles Ice Center will be hosting a preseason hockey game between the Utah Grizzles and the Idaho Steelheads on October 11th at 7:00 PM. Tickets are only $7.50 for adults and $5.00 for students (with a valid student ID). Proceeds will benefit the non-profit ice center. For more information contact us at 435-787-2288

Our annual Spice On Ice event was held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. The evening featured the finest food from local restaurants- Firehouse Pizzeria, El Toro Viejo, Cracker Barrel, Juniper Take Out & Restaurant, Buffalo Wild Wings, Lee’s Marketplace, Savannah’s BBQ, Utah State University Catering, the USU Cafes, the Bull’s Head, Beehive Grill and Cafe Sabor- along with a silent and live auction to raise money for the ice center. This year we had a record breaking number of 150 donors! This was the 11th year of Spice On Ice and for the first time no competition was incorporated into the event. Spice On Ice is the main fundraiser for the year and on average brings in around $40,000. In attendance, were 350 guests who were able to enjoy appetizers, entrées and desserts.

On June 18, 2014 the Eccles Ice Center partnered with Chick-fil-A to host a Disney’s Frozen themed dinner and skate night. Three hundred and forty patrons were welcomed and served a Chick-fil-A dinner by princesses and the restaurant cow. Following dinner, participants were invited to skate and to have their pictures taken with the Frozen princesses, Anna and Elsa. Many excited customers came dressed as their favorite Frozen princess. This event proved to be a fun, family activity.
