The Eccles Ice Center School Outreach program takes place on Thursdays and Fridays from 9:15-10:15 a.m. or 10:15-11:15 a.m. and is based on Utah Educational Core Curriculum. Our program is designed specifically to coordinate with instruction given in the classroom and to provide a hands-on experience.
1.Skating for Your Health
Professional instructors create a learning environment where students learn lifelong skills in any ice skating discipline including sports nutrition, training techniques, and conditioning.
2. The Science and Physics of Skating
Students will apply classroom concepts to real life situations. Instruction includes the study of forces, basic refrigeration concepts, and the properties of ice.
3. Creative Movement on Ice
Students will develop physical abilities and learn how creative movement can be used as a means of communication and self-expression.
4. Broomball (High Schools Only)
Students will be introduced to the newest sport on ice in Cache Valley. Broomball helps students develop a healthy heart, teamwork, strengthen their communication skills, and promote an active lifestyle.

This program is free to Cache Valley Schools grades K-12. Schools must provide transportation. Skate rental is included.
