Program Cost:

• $67.00 per student (5 week session)

• After the first registration, receive a 10% discount for each additional family member.

Duration:

• Five Weeks

 

Frequency:

• Lessons are held once a week, on Tuesday or Thursday. Participants should sign up for the day that best fits their schedule. 

  • A reminder that Tuesday sessions begin @ 4:30 PM​ for level 2 and higher classes and @ 5:00 PM for all level 1 classes.

  • A reminder that Thursday sessions begin @ 5:00 PM for level 2 and higher classes and @ 5:30 PM for all level 1 classes.

• Lessons run for 30 minutes per session.

First Time Participants​

​

First-time participants should register as New Enrollees.  We recommend starting at level 1, regardless of previous experience.  On the first day, our instructors will evaluate your skills and, if appropriate, place you in a more advanced class.​

​

Note: if you are moved up from level 1 to a higher level, class times will change to the earlier schedule.  Please keep that in mind during registration.

Figure Skating or Hockey?

​

• Learn to Skate is a path to figure skating. However, our snowplow sam classes and Basic 1-3 teach important foundational skating skills that benefit all who are new to skating. Skaters 10 and under will be required to where figure skates in Learn to Skate. Figure skates provide for better balance when learning but the transition to hockey skates will be smooth and successful when the skater is ready. If you want to jump straight into hockey, please register for Learn to Play hockey or our Youth Hockey league.
